OBTAINING A LICENSE:

Applicants for the Salesperson License must complete 14 credits (210 classroom hours) of Real Estate or related courses.  Of the 14 credits, 4 credits (60 hours) must be completed in Principles of Real Estate, 2 credits (30 hours) in Law of Agency, 2 credits (30 hours) in Law of Contracts, and 2 credits (30 hours) in other core real estate courses.  In addition, you need 4 credits (60 hours) in related courses if you have no college credits or other real estate related TREC approved courses.

EVALUATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION:
 

The Texas Real Estate Commission determines which college courses apply.  Transcripts to be evaluated along with an Evaluation of Education Documents Request form (this form can be obtained from the Texas Real Estate Commission website) should be sent to:  Texas Real Estate Commission; Education Division; PO Box 12188; Capital Station, Austin, Texas 78711.  The web address is www.trec.state.tx.us  There is a $30.00 fee for transcript assessment.

All instructors are approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

ACCREDITATION:��

Our courses are approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission. These courses are designed to promote your image and service; how-to’s-of listing & sales; closing the deal; preparing contracts; practical mathematics use in real estate; marketing trends with plenty of ideas on mobilizing your productive resources successfully.  Completion certificates are provided to all passing students.

CLASSROOM:

Classes are conducted at the Central Texas School of Real Estate classroom, 202-C West Central Texas Expressway, Killeen, TX 76541

TUITION:

Tuition is $150.00* per class and must be received by noon Wednesday the week of the class.  Text books and workbooks are provided with full payment on the first day of class.  There is a $25.00 returned check fee.  A $50.00 materials/cancellation fee is charged for all student cancellations 48 hours prior to the start of class.  No refund shall be given if a student cancels on the day of the class.  Tuition will be forfeited by all students who start class but do not continue or return.   Calculators are recommended for all classes. 
CTSRE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL CLASS AT ANY TIME.

SCHEDULE:

Classes are based on an accelerated schedule:  You must attend all three days in order to receive credit.  Friday 12:00 pm- 10:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 8 am- 7 pm.
